Honestly I think I've opened the PS4 spotify app like twice since it launched. I use my phone, which is hooked up to my spotify account and has all my playlists and everyhting already stored (been using spotify since launch, for years). I kinda think of it as my PS4 being one of my Spotify enabled devices and forget the PS4 even has a spotify app. Create a playlist. Tap Your Library. Under Music, tap Playlists. Tap Create playlist. Give your playlist a name and tap CREATE. Add songs and podcast episodes. After you create a playlist tap ADD SONGS for suggestions. Swipe right or Search to find more. To add songs later: Tap (iOS) (Android) on the song or podcast episode. Tap Add to Playlist. What started as an personal itch I wanted to scratch turned in to a service used by nearly 9,000 people. Unfortunately the economics quickly stopped making sense (costing me personally almost $500 a month to keep the servers kicking). The feature to see the date that a playlist was created / updated has existed on the mobile app for years and apparently the developers took it away in a recent update. This is an essential feature, and should be brought back. Of course 'other users might also like it'.

MAKE A MUSIC LIST FOR GRANDMA WITH SPOTIFY!

Imagine you have used the Alive Inside APP and created a Spotify playlist for Grandma -
Now, you want to download her songs from Youtube.

STEP #1: Make Grandma's Music PlayList with the Alive Inside APP!

To make a list of your Grandma's most memorable music, use the fantastic The Alive Inside APP!

Enter all the information about your Grandma and her love of music in the APP.

Don't forget you have to log into SPOTIFY first!

NOW YOU HAVE DONE THE APP AND HAVE YOUR SONGLIST

Now, save Grandma's playlist to Spotify. PRESS the blue to SAVE TO SPOTIFY button!

SAVE TO SPOTIFY-

FIND SPOTIFY PLAYLIST

STEP #2: Get a link for Grandma's playlist!

Create spotify playlist from itunes

After you have your list, go to the list in Spotify
to make sure your playlist is there!

TURN THE SPOTIFY PLAYLIST INTO A YOUTUBE PLAYLIST

STEP #3: Turn Grandma's playlist into a YouTube Playlist with Playlist Buddy.

Go toPlaylist Buddy.

CONVERT YOUR PLAYLIST

First, SIGN INwith your Spotify account from before you start! This will still be easy!
Grandma's Playlist will show up in the left column

SELECT HER PLAYLIST!

CREATE YOUR YOUTUBE PLAYLIST

Then PRESS the blue CONVERT PLAYLIST TO YOUTUBE button in the upper right corner

Your SPOTIFY PLAYLIST will now convert to a YOUTUBE PLAYLIST.

Then PRESS the blue VIEW ON YOUTUBE button in the lower right corner - SEE LIST ON YOUTUBE!

COPY YOUTUBE PLAYLIST URL

#4: Get Grandma's YouTube link!

Go to YouTube and copy your Playlist URL-

DOWNLOAD YOUR SONGS

STEP #5: Get the songs for Grandma!

Good Job! Now, you need to do is COPY the PLAYLIST URL and download 4K Youtube to MP3

(25 songs for Grandma is free- if you want more songs it costs $15)

PASTE THE YOUTUBE PLAYLIST URL

Once you enter the YouTube Playlist- PRESS the DOWNLOAD button!

A zip folder containing all the songs from your playlist will Download to your Computer.

Now, put your Grandma's music on the SD card and put it in her headset!
